Over 40 restaurants are ready to put on a show as the Aberdeen Restaurant Week participating eateries are revealed.
Aberdeen’s September edition of Restaurant Week will run from Monday 3 September 2018, to Sunday, 9 September.
More than 40 restaurants have signed up so far and each will create a soon to be revealed, unique menu for the event with a simple pricing structure. A two-course lunch will be priced at £10 per person and a three-course dinner will cost £20 per person.
The website is now live listing all participating restaurants and the respective menus will be revealed on Tuesday 21st August.
Participating restaurants include, Yatai, Jack’s Steakhouse & Grill, The Braided Fig, Melt, Atlantis and Café Andaluz.
This year Contour Café will host a slow food pop-up in partnership with SNEAP which will aim to highlight the field to fork journey.

It allows local culture values to shine through the medium of sustainable produce by linking the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment.

Nicola Johnston, Evening and Night Time Economy Manager of Aberdeen Inspired, said: “We are excited to announce the Aberdeen Restaurant Week line-up in anticipation of the menu reveal later this month.
“As well as having some of Aberdeen’s best restaurants involved, this time, we have an educational element through the slow food pop up at Café Contour.
“We will also be highlighting the importance and benefits of the hospitality industry through our insight interviews released late September.
“Aberdeen Restaurant Week offers a unique opportunity for customers to explore some of the best of Aberdeen’s cuisine and acts as an incentive for them to perhaps try somewhere they have never been before.
“We have also engaged with Aberdeen’s talented local blogging community which will bring benefits to both business and customers.”
Aberdeen Inspired is the banner under which the Aberdeen Business Improvement District (BID) operates. It is a business-led initiative within the city centre in which levy payers within the BID zone contribute.
Proceeds are used to fund projects designed to improve the business district. Due to its on-going success, the organisation won 2017 European BID of the Year in July.
